LSBA is excited to announce that Jamie Prescott is the new high school varsity coach. Jamie has a lengthy coaching resume that includes head coaching experience at Mercer Island High, ECBA Swish and Tree of Hope.  Her assistant this year will be long-time Newport High coach, Travis Whitaker.   The duo is looking to transform Liberty into a powerhouse for girls’ basketball.

With high school summer ball starting in late May, Prescott and Whitaker held open gyms and practices. They also scheduled four summer tournaments (Snohomish, Edmonds-Woodway, White River and Oregon City).  In their first tournament of the summer, they went 3-1 and the only lost was by two points.

  

Jamie has also enlisted Mo Hines to run the ‘Breakfast Club’  morning training sessions on Wednesdays.
